CIFFI is the International Film Festival of India being organized by Delhi Metropolitan Education–DME (www.dme.ac.in) of India in association with Deakin University (www.deakin.edu.au) of Australia from 2019. This year, Nottingham University China campus has also become our valued partner. DME is a premier educational institute located in Noida in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.Deakin University is one of the biggest public universities of Australia located in Melbourne. The University of Nottingham is a public research university in the UK with campuses in Malaysia and China.
The first edition of CIFFI was held on April 17-20, 2019, in DME campus while Deakin University authorities and Australian filmmakers joined both in online and offline mode. The second Edition of CIFFI was organised in hybrid mode on the central theme ‘Cinema and Covid-19 Impact’ on December 15-21, 2020. experience for all. The fourth edition of CIFFI, again in a blended format, repeated the same dates with ‘Cinema for Togetherness’ as theme and #millennialmovies hashtag.
CIFFI 2023 is coming up with new zeal, being organized consecutively for the fourth time in hybrid mode with mesmerising blending. This is the fifth edition of Cineaste international film festival of India – CIFFI. A filmmaker debutant or celebrated has a responsibility to contribute to inclusivity in society, that is why ‘Cinema for Inclusion’ is the theme of CIFFI 2023. This year, we all will celebrate diversity in films with #celebratingdiversity. In CIFFI 2023, we seek a change in the experience of watching films while expecting the horizon of films to broaden and expand. In CIFFI 2022, we tried to infuse the spirit of togetherness. With all collaborations intact in the fifth edition of the film festival in 2023, we are looking forward to making it an enriching experience for all.

Delhi Metropolitan Education
Delhi Metropolitan Education is an ‘A’ grade premier educational institute affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi and approved by Bar Council of India. Deakin University
