Films on Disability/Special Ability’ was the topic of CIFFI’s first Curate Session moderated by the celebrated director and film maker Mr. Satish Kapoor.Founder Director of We Care film festival exhibiting films on disability
Mr Satish Kapoor is a Founder and Director of Brotherhood and WE CARE Film Festivals. Mr. Kapoor has been promoting inclusion of children with disabilities into the media industry.
Mr. Satish Kapoor briefed the students present in Studio 62 and emphasized on the techniques, thought provocation, indepth understanding & the need to highlight the specially-abled people. Their challenges and victorious triumphs over their limitations and how to highlight them in the process of scripting and directing such films were discussed. After the brief interaction, 6 short films on special ability were showcased-

6. National anthem for the disabled
It was an open dialogue of questions & their solutions on very sensitive yet intriquite aspects. He said that while making films on issues such as special ability one has to go deep down to the root of the issue, spend time with disabled people and observe their struggles in daily life.
At the end of curate session, an Australian film ‘Book week’ was also showcased.
